Hands-on Science

In conjunction with Assumption School’s focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) learning activities, Grades 5 - 8 students and faculty take a field trip to the campus of Worcester Polytechnic Insti tute and participate in WPI’s Middle School STEM Experience Program . Our students enjoy participating in the hands - on “Oil Spill” experiment, interacting with the WPI Engineering Student Ambassadors, and campus tours.
